Please stop me from buying BEATS or SMS Audio Street!!!
I guess it isn't the logo on the OUTSIDE as much as the gouging from the $15 worth of materials INSIDE.- conchchowder

Burn-in first time
Quote: I just got my Head-Direct RE0's and have been putting pink noise through them from http://www.simplynoise.com/ I sneaked a listen with my Xenos X3HA amp. Upped the bass just a little and tweaked the treble then listened to YoYo Ma playing the Bach Cello Concertos as tears came...- conchchowder

How important is hiss?
With my Zenos X3 I don't get hiss. I use my iPaq and the 40i player mostly. Really clean sound. I stream with the iPaq as well. Before I bought the headphone amp I had problems but not since.- conchchowder

I haven't found an album which has the highs and lows which can really tax a pair of speakers/cans. I...- conchchowder

IEMs for quieter music (piano, etc.)
Shure E3c can be had for around $100 and I love mine..the cord is sturdy and the sleeves fit well...I also use a headphone amp but that is up to you...in any case, plug them into your player and play them at moderate volume (stick them in a drawer somewhere) for a few days...change out the...- conchchowder
