Review of the DIY 6H6N to E182CC/5687 Tube Adapters (BullPlugs) For LD MKII & MKIII Headphone Amplifiers
I no longer have time for my hobbies not to mention helping (manualy) other people. Buy yourself a soldering iron and start your adventure. Chase necessary parts on ebay. They are relatively cheap. I still have two of those round PCBs somewhere. I can give them for free but I will charge for the...- sonda2008

I’ve just received two vintage socket savers. Looks like it’s what I wanted to create neat looking adapters. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260661684627&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT I’m still waiting for adapter boards. I hope they will make my life easier during...- sonda2008

Hi there page28, Sorry for not replying earlier. Looks like all my head-fi subscriptions went dead :( I have never tried those Vintage Valve Tube 9-Pin Sockets myself. I’m a cheap person and I was reluctant to buy 10 of them + shipping without knowing whether they work or not ;) Some time ago...- sonda2008

Quote: I bought it from David on eBay. Amp was shipped directly from China. I have never made any modifications to the circuit board myself. Many solder joints (most of them actually) do look messy.- sonda2008

Little DOT MK III Mods??
Today I visited my local shop with electronic stuff. There is nothing I mean absolutely nothing in terms of caps or resistors mentioned in the LD mod thread :( The only things I could scavenge were some LEDs. From top to bottom: - original blue - orange - superbright white - superbright...- sonda2008

Little DOT MK III Mods??
I took some pictures of the circuit board of my MKIII v2.0 today and I think (pardon my ignorance) there is something missing on the board. There is one brown 33uF 250V cap in the middle of the board. Looks like there should be two of them. There is nothing on the other side of the board. There...- sonda2008

Stevebol, Looks like the soldering quality is very poor not only on my MKIII. My clumsiness did not help either I guess ;) I think I figured out the pot wiring. It works fine... sometimes... well... I loose the left channel when I touch the pot in an improper manner ;) I had some problems...- sonda2008

Hi guys! Some time ago I decided to check what’s in my MK III. I dismantled the front panel and a couple of wires connected to the pot fell off. I have no idea how to fix it :( Could you provide some schematics how to wire the pot to the main board please? I wouldn’t like getting...- sonda2008

Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 opamp configurations list
Check the control panel of the old drivers and compare to the latest one. The latest one just looks cheap. Only a fraction of the old features remained. This is a huge and I will repeat it HUGE step backwards. Most of the old stuff never worked for me anyway but at least it was there! Master...- sonda2008
