Have you ever experienced a resonance distortion, possibly when the seal not perfect? I often hear that with audiobooks, but so far I haven't noticed it with music. It's not the recording because when I rewind and listen to the spot where it ocurred again the distortion changes or disappears...

how far do typical CIEMs go into the ear canal? When trying to estimate it from photos of CIEMs it looks to me some of them don't even go past the first bend, but it's hard to tell without being able to physically measure it

Hi, are koss porta pro pads a perfect replacement for the sennheiser pmx100 pads? I've read that it's "possible" to use them for PX100, but is there any difference between the two cushion types? thanks!

After I swapped the pleather pads for the velour ones, the right driver started to distort some frequencies. I put the pleather pad back, but it didn't change. It does that also without the pad altogether. I haven't seen any hair or dirt or anything loose under the pad. What could go wrong?

Some pages list the impedance of hd25-1 ii as 70 ohms, others as 65 ohms. The photos show hd25-1 with "70 ohms" written on them. The sennheiser webpage says it's 65 ohms. The headroom graph shows the impedance is above 80 ohms for HD-25 So what is the real impedance of HD25-1 ii and why...

I can't get this in my country without getting the Porta Pro full-serviced for more than half the cost of new Porta Pros. Any alternative? DIY? import? (I'll surely get the 3 pairs of ear cushions from USA for $4.99 because the official Koss distributor here asks $8.69 for one pair)
