Hello everyone,   Having had issues with getting ath a900x in Ireland, I decided to grab these when Im in Japan - and it will be even cheaper.      I'll be in Japan for 8 days, and I was wondering if there's anything else worth getting while I'm there!

I'm guessing this is the main RE400 topic.. if not, please advise :)     What tips are you guys using for the RE400? I used to have RE0 with the clear biflanges that fit me perfectly - now I got the RE400 with extra tips for tenner, and none of them fit me well... the clear ones are too wide...

I've used complys before on RE0 and my budget sony mdr ex50, so I used them on the ue900, still no luck. I can sometimes get a good sound out of them, but it only lasts for a single track and then I have to fiddle with the EQ..

I've done it all, doesn't help, sadly. I'm almost certain that I'm not getting a good seal with any of the provided tips...   I'm torn between tips 2 and 3 (1 being largest). With tips 2, I'm getting a good seal but the sound is bloated (probably because the seal is too tight, I can also hear...

It sucks that none of the IEMs you guys suggest are within the price range :( I got the ue900 for 169 pounds (50% off on logitech site), which is why I'm looking into something similar. I guess I'll get rid of these and stick around, see if any deals pop up during black friday/cyber monday.

I will probably be selling my u900 for the same price (169 pounds) if anyone is interested. I don't like them, and for that price I can get RE400 and some decent full size cans.

I started playing with equalizer on foobar/spotify and wow, did it make a huge difference.

hi guys, I was wondering if you could help me find some double flange tips for the ue900. I'm happy with the tips provided, but i'm curious how would they sound with long double flanges.

I went for UE900, there was a crazy price drop so I snagged a pair for 200 euros. Great bargain IMO

Hey guys, are these headphones "glasses-friendly"? I have to wear glasses 24/7 and I'm worried these headphones might not be a good fit (I have to buy these blind, as noone has them around here).

Yeah, I've been going through the threads about modding the K550. Some simple, some more elaborate. I might get different pads as well (assuming I like the K550)

Well the good thing is, If I order the K550 from amazon, I can easily return them, because it's also sold by amazon. With a900x there would probably be some issues seeing as these cans would be from external seller and imported from Japan as well.  I will probably settle for K550 and see how...

It probably would, the only way I can get these bad boys is by importing them from Japan... 200 euros :( Coming back to the K550 and A900x comparison - Which ones would you say are better for movies/games? I'll definitely be using the new headphones for music, but I also want them to be good...
