Followed and liked!   I have the HE-400i and I love it. 

I was kind of looking for a simple software which simplifies the process of going into control panel in windows to deactivate and activate sound inputs.

I'm on Windows 8.1, and I'm currently using 2 audio setups. The first setup is headphones using a USB dac/amp, and the second setup is a 2.0 speaker system. What I'm looking for is a simple way to switch between audio outputs on my PC. Is there a good app/widget for this?

I plan on using this amp/dac with Spotify (premium). Any issues with that, has anyone tried?

It's possible for an optional metal chassis to include a see through top plate too. I really hope to see this option sometime in the (near) future.

I would love to see a metal case, but I would like the top of the chassis to be clear so we can see a little bit of the insides.

Would love to see the option for a metal chassis. I'm actually kind of holding out a purchase partly beacuse of this. Maybe a DIY project?

I'm also considering the Polaris. What settings do you use on the Polaris for the 400i's mandrake50? And what dac do you use?

I read that the Fulla includes a short USB cable, and I was planning to connect it to my desktop. Will a USB extension cable work, any recommendations for something solid and cheap?

I have a pair of 400i arriving tomorrow. Is it safe to attach a modmic to the grills? Could the magnet create some kind of disturbance? 

Has anyone tried the Fulla with the HE-400i?

Has anyone tried the HE-500s with the Schiit Asgard 2? Recommended or not?

Looking forward to reading some reviews. I see it also has a headphone amp built in, wonder how good it performs as an "all-round" package.

I'm in the same situastion as OP, deciding about HD800 and HE-500. Also, considering LCD-2. Decisions, decisions....
