I miss my Rio Karma... :(   Best sounding player I've ever heard.   Never heard the J3 or S9, but I had the i9. Not impressed at all. Everyone raved about sound quality on Cowon units too. I found it soooo dry.

Oops! I meant to add more to that ipod comment. I simply mentioned that to explain my choice of cowon over the ipod. I've owned a couple and have never really been pleased with the SQ. I'll be sure to mess around with the BBE settings a bit.

I don't like the way it tries to be tooooo user friendly. Does stuff on it's own. It also uses a ton of system resources for such a simple program. It lags everything on my computer when running... and my comp has no trouble running stuff like PS CS4.
