Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro And ipod touch hiss? and other headsets help

The hiss comes from bad source, not the earphones. Some IEMs, like the Super.fi 5 pro (or my own E2Cs), are so sensitive that the hiss is pretty loud. Others aren't that efficient, so the hiss disappears. The problem isn't just with ipod, it's with many portable players... UE super.fi 5...

    IEM Warning

I guess this thread would be suitable enough for my guestion... So, I'm thinkin about getting a portable amp, mostly for my computer with DT770s, but also with my IEMs (or DT770s) on my portable player (E2Cs at the moment, but I'm going to upgrade them...). The guestion I'm concerned about is...

    Portable amp for DT770-80

REVIEW: Go Vibe Petite DAC/AMP vs. D1

Sounds like a nice amp/dac... Nice to have some options to choose; d2, petite, uha-3, for example. Thanks for a great review! OICDN, you said this amp sounds nice with the dt770s, which is great because I going to order those cans... But what about using this amp with IEMs? I have E2Cs, and I...

    Portable amp for DT770-80

The Ibasso d2 should be availble in just a couple of weeks (at least I've heard so). It was planned to come by the end of this month, but the vacation in China delays it a bit. I'm waiting for it... at least I want to see it and hear some comments about it. I was already going for the UHA-3...

    Portable Amp/DAC for Grados

Thanks Ndskyz! Actually I just read the whole Ibasso D2 thread, so I got some info about it. There was also the price there; at least sub 200$ (without DIP chip opportunity) and possibly only 179$! That would be a very, very neat price!

    Portable Amp/DAC for Grados

Does somebody know what will be the price of an Ibasso D2 (just about...)? I'm just wondering if I should wait for that? At the moment the UHA-3 is on top of my list because of its quality for the price.

REVIEW: iBasso D1, Leckerton Audio UHA-3, and Meier Corda Move compared.

Thanks Cmasten and Skylab, I guess I'm going for it. (The other option would be Headsix, for example, if I didn't want a DAC.) It seems a great amp/dac for a very nice price. I wouldn't like to spend 300$ or 500$ for an amp... at least not yet , cause I'm just a beginner...

Looking for in-ear headphones (which one to choose?)

I have Shure e2c:s and I like them a lot. They fit well in my ears, but ears are different. I think their soundstage is pretty neutral; great mids, clear highs and tight bass. There isn't great amounts of bass (depends on where you compare... I compare to DT770s ), but it's enough for me, and I...

REVIEW: iBasso D1, Leckerton Audio UHA-3, and Meier Corda Move compared.

Thanks for your opinion, Skylab! It's nice to hear that because I'm going to use it mostly with those DT770, but I'm interested in IEMs, too. So, you said earlier in this thread that you don't like UHA-3 with Shures, didn't you? I'm wondering would that amp work well with very senstive IEMs...

REVIEW: iBasso D1, Leckerton Audio UHA-3, and Meier Corda Move compared.

This is a little bit old thread, but won't let it bother... I'm pretty interested in Leckerton Audio's UHA-3. It seems a good amp/DAC for an affordable price. I only have a couple of questions. I would be using it with DT770s and also Shure e2c:s. How would it work with those? My source...

    Good Closed 'Phones?

How about Darth Beyers? People seems to praise them quite a lot... For example DT770 Darthed would be better in all areas compared to the stock version, especially in the mids and highs. And then it's not too cheap anymore, is it

DT 770 PRO 80 Ohm vs 250 Ohm

Hi! I'm also going to buy DT 770 pro's and I'm wondering which model would be better... I've searched quite a lot, and it seems to me that almos everybody has the 80 ohm version. And like Maza said, the 250 ohm version has a little more bass, but it is a little bit lower quality. I've heard...
