I have heard the same from reviewers, and that the 10-20ms is acceptable for audio/video editing I’ve also heard the cable feels super cheap (at $35 too!) and is quite short for desktop use. 🤷‍♂️

Two more settings folks might want to check out (Settings->Bluetooth->AirPods Max):

They should work with any Bluetooth device for "regular" audio, but in order to get Spatial Audio you need the right streaming/local app (Netflix/HBO Max/Apple TV/Plex/etc) and an iOS device A10 and later (as mentioned above) and content with Dolby 5.1 and up. Yes, orders will arrive tomorrow...

One trick is to just use one AirPod for a bit while the other charges - then swap for the other ear - then back to both. Can’t use ANC with just one I don’t think but you could at least keep listening.
