I download the album in 24/96 FLAC and got problems with track 1 & track 2. I think during the download something went wrong. I've sent hdtrack an email still waiting on the reply. From track 3 to 12 they all work fine. Although this is suppose to be for headphones but they sound great on...- cafe zeenuts

Jumbos are perfect for Jazz and classical music. Anything else is bright.... Another option is to cut down some foam from the jumbos about 5.0 to 7.5mm to reduce brightness and still keep the comfort..- cafe zeenuts

PayPal. Gift?
No fees for "gift" payment only if paid in full by Paypal account balance, if paid via credit card fees will be charge like normal transaction. I think its a bad idea paying by gift transaction, i would rather paid the fee and get some insurance...- cafe zeenuts

Grado HF2 “i” DIY Mods
I have been using the HF2 with jumbo pad that have been shaved about 5mm of the cushion with a box cutter with great result. I think it's better Idea than my mod in my 1st post lol... A steady hand and a very sharp box cutter is needed for this job. Take your time when cutting the foam...- cafe zeenuts

Little Dot MKVIII SE is coming!!
Its Looks like this amp is design to drive high impedance headphones (300-600ohms), power output is reduce from MK6 in order to run the amp without cooling fans. IMHO running 4 X 6AS7G or 6080 on MK6 without cooling fan is just too much for the chassis to disapate heat efficiently. But damm...- cafe zeenuts

The Grado HF-2 Review/Comparison Thread
The HF2 with jumbos are fantastic with Jazz and Classical Music, large soundstage, great detail and the music just flows... The negative with the jumbos are that for Jazz Vocal it has sibilance that is very harsh. Some rock recording can be bright at times. Therefore for any sibilance and bright...- cafe zeenuts

"Burn-in" is like breaking in a new pair of leather shoes. After breaking the shoe will feel more comfortable. But breaking in will not turn your leather shoe into a sports runners, they're still leather shoes. Same apply for headphones....- cafe zeenuts
