Is anyone building the KGSSHV?
If you ever buy it, Sean, please squeeze a couple for me :) Don't know what to do with them but they are one of the quad attenuators that I still haven't tried.- Lil' Knight

Not built, just got my hands on the boards. The material they are using for the PCB (Rogers) is optimized for digital, which is pretty awesome.- Lil' Knight

The Stax thread (New)
Nope, not him. The guy who claimed changing Stax jacks makes difference in sound also thought that Rudistor made the best headamp ever. Seriously watching lolcats is more fun than reading those kinds of post.- Lil' Knight

Hard to believe there would be something more tedious to work with than the T2, especially when one has to do everything from scratch. Being able to get in KG's run of chassis is real bless.- Lil' Knight

Carrie USB-Powered Headphone Amplifier
Hmmm.. from my past experience, the Carrie a a much easier to build than the GrubDac. Those smd opamps are very easy to work with, comparing with the PCM and WM on the Grub.- Lil' Knight

DAC
Both have almost the same price but the board from Acko is made of higher quality. Plus they have a lot more accessories and quick to adapt new changes. Meanwhile TPA took more than 3 years (and still counting) to develop an USB board and keep in mind, this is not their main job so don't...- Lil' Knight

Chassis/Enclosure Help
I doubt you could find a nice case with pre-cut holes for less than $40 these day. Maybe taking a look here would lead to something useful for your need: http://www.siliconray.com/audio-amateur/enclosure-chasis.html- Lil' Knight

The Stax thread (New)
Not sure if he has a stereo pot though, all of the Alphas I've seen so far is quad. The Alps RK40 is awesome if you have one but since you have 1" space to fool around, I don't think it would fit.- Lil' Knight

The Stax thread (New)
I would bet you could fit the TKD 2cp601 volume pot into that space. It's not as nice as its bigger brother 2cp2511 but still far superior to the Alps RK27. The BC caps are great but my favorite psu caps lately is the blue Cornell Dubilier.- Lil' Knight
