I have 6.6gb space left so it's not the storage problem. I also tried different versions of the firmware (for z1060blk and z1060) and no luck. It just kept asking me to connect the device when I had followed all the instruction from sony website.

Anyone with Canadian Z1060 successfully installed the update? The program can't recognize my player for some reason.

Yes, you got used to the size within one week but unfortunately, your pocket doesn't. It's also a PITA to operate Z when you are sitting on a crowded bus. I am thinking about returning mine after 1 week use due to the crappy W player but there is no releasing date of F in Canada whatsoever. :mad:

Used to own a clip. It has a very clear and neutral sound which I like a lot. Now I bought a clip+ for lecture recording. Still has same nice SQ, but the sound signature is a bit too warm for my liking.

I use mp3tag v2.45a and it works fine on my S638, except the releasing date. However, I use WMP most of the time and it seldom has any problem.

hmm, seems like you have made your decision. I actually downgraded from pro750 to HFI 780. While I had both cans in hand, I found 780s are not as detailed and refined as pro750. However, 750 are much harder to drive and control by my little headfive amp. Quirk ands ibiliant sound sometimes.
