My HD 650s have been getting less use since I got my Denon D2000s. However, last night I ripped my first LP to MP3, and the 650s are leagues ahead in every way possible. Absolutely astonished by them when listening to Santana Abraxas.

Denon D2000s are very good for electronic stuff. I prefer my pair to my HD 650s by a fair way. Thumping bass and a decent soundstage for closed cans.

K701s.   Weird plasticy resonance at certain frequencies which I found really annoying. Particularly obvious on rim shots. No bass to speak of, very bright and fatiguing with proper 'every day' recorded  music. Rubbish build quality, flawed design but were comfy and looked cool.
