I've been toying with the idea of getting a 5pro but was concerned about the "sometimes too much" bass, especially after having the ER-4p and was wondering if anyone had tried the P to S adapter to adjust the sound, and if so, how did it change?

I just got my parents a set of Senn 201s and realized that the on-board sound was even worse than expected and was wondering if I could drive them to an acceptable volume with the av-710. If not, what are some good no external amped options?

I did a search on this, but not too much came up. Tube amps have a lot of high voltage running around inside and higher voltages mean a larger inductance field around the components and wires carrying it. Now, couldn't that cause some interference between them? And if so, wouldn't shielded...
