So I thought I would get the Denon AH-D2000...
I've been scouring the forums, dredging up topics from quite a while back, and thought the Denon D2000 were the right headphones for me. However I just saw these few posts, which are making me have my doubts: Quote: Originally Posted by Graphicism The D2000 is a massively overrated...- KayoDot

My first vinyl setup...a little help?
I'm venturing in to vinyl for the first time, and am having a little trouble deciding what would be the best route to take. Thus far, I have narrowed it down to one of two choices: Rega P1 -> Cambridge Audio 540P phono preamp -> Audioengine A2s Pro-ject Debut III Phono SB -> Audioengine...- KayoDot

Turntable --> Audioengine A2s. Is an amp needed?
I am investigating the vinyl market, and the information suggests that a typical vinyl set up looks something like turntable > preamp > headphone amp > headphones/speakers. However, I am looking to buy an entry level turntable (either Rega P1 or Pro-ject Debut III) and a pair of Audioengine...- KayoDot

iPod dock connector for 'phones.
Recently the headphone jack on my 5G iPod Video has only been playing out of the left channel, and it makes listening incredibly boring. Can anyone recommend a small dock connector that has a mini-jack socket? All I have at the moment is the Apple iPod Dock, but at about 2cm think and 7cm...- KayoDot

I need help choosing a camera.
I have about £500 to spend on a good quality camera and lens, but I need some advice from people with past experiences, good or bad. I've got 2 cameras lined up, but I'm unsure which would be the best for me. They are: Nikon D50 - body only is about £250-280. I was thinking a Tamron 17-50mm...- KayoDot

HD-580, HD-595 or MS-1s?
I currently own a pair of Alessandro MS-1s, but I am looking to venture in to the world of Sennheiser. The Alessandros provide wonderful sound quality, but the comfort factor has been rather limiting. I have had a look around, and it seems to me that both the HD-595s and 580s look like extremely...- KayoDot

Upgrading from my MS-1s
Fellow Head-Fi members - I have enjoyed the company of my MS-1s for about 2 months now, but I feel it's time for me to try something a bit different. I have had a look around, and it seems that the Sennheiser HD595s are recieving extremely positive feedback from many users here. They also seem...- KayoDot

Sub-$100 portable amp
My current portable rig is my 30GB iPod Video 5G and a pair of Alessandro MS-1s, however I feel they are underpowered and an amp is needed. For an LOD I was thinking of the ALO Bling Bling Dock as it is reasonably priced for a first-time buyer. I'm thinking about my first ever amp purchase, and...- KayoDot
