    Spider PowerForce Headphone Appreciation

Hi.  I have not compared them to the models you mentioned.  I did do a direct A-B with Soul by Ludacris, however.  I found those to be literally hurtful in the bass (lots of quantity, but no quality) and shrill and undefined in the upper end, with virtually no soundstage.  Soul would be a direct...

Also, to me it sometimes means the very *movement* of air, as when you hear (especially with headphones) a singer take...

    off topic, but not really

Sunday morn, and I am sittin' here listening to the Bee Gees with my Grado 80's. How sweet. They really knew what stereo was for back then. "Words are all I have to take your heart away....." Rest in peace, Maurice Gibb.

    just bought grado sr-80

true true.............it is very hard to get over, still so amazing. I was listening to a choir thing earlier, and *every* voice is present. The voices are *differentiated.* If there are 12 people in the choir, you can hear 12 voices.

    just bought grado sr-80

I think I know what you are saying. I am *just* about done burning in my 80's, and, all I can say is that the sound is "immediate." Be patient, or, as someone else suggested, try some different material. Despite a bit of awkwardness (or at least a feeling of awkwardness) with these things...
