This topic comes up every few years. Anyone who has heard the latest TOTL earphones want to weigh in?

Looking for a full sized headphone as good or better than the JH.  Prefer to run out of Sony ZX2 but have portable amplifier if required.

I've got a Sony ZX2 and want an awesome headphone to pair with it for home and office. Have great iems but would like a full sized headphone as well.

Plug into iPhone.  Beautiful highs and mid-range.  Oh wait, mid-bass bloat.  Damn!  Will let them burn in overnight and then reassess.  Out of the box they are not competitive against the GR07.  Very sad.    

Is this possible? What model of 4 pin mini XLR connectors?  Any tips?
