I had both and I would say Adagio 2 and Adagio 3 is a total different beast. Adagio 2 has more 'pop-cultured' (stronger mid bass) type of bass while Adagio 3 is more balance, more tamed down signature.

Actually Adagio 3 quite hits right on on the price point. For that price, there isn't quite a lot of contender that could be found. Nice bass, detailed treble, just what the Klipsch S4 would sound like but if we are saying it is better than S4, I will be a proud user of a FAD.

It is great to have another fan club of Final Audio Design at Head-fi. In Japan, FAD is categorized as their 'main stream brands', while internationally they are building up reputation. I have some FAD collection with me and I do admit they surprises me. :)
