Nick is well. Cabling the YH100 isn't crazy but if you are opening it up, you may as well modify it too.

I would strongly suggest that this is not attempted. The HP1 driver is center pinned and if you remove the "button" which is the rivet that holds them together, the drivers will eventually fail (if not immediately). Many other ways to modify without going to these extremes. .. dB
