Roommate busted into my room this morning saying the he found a deal for these headphones for $325. Needless to say we're still in shock.  

In a sheer stroke of luck, my roommate and I found a pair of AKG K1000's for $325 on craigslist this morning. Seller was the original owner and was moving out (and apparently had no idea of the value for these headphones.) Sitting here in sheer awe of these incredible headphones.

I've had a variety of Grado's in the past (SR80i, RS-2i, SR-225i, HF-2) but have recently rejoined the club! Happy owner of the SR-80e, should keep me entertained for a bit ;)

Thanks for the suggestion. Currently in the market for an amp with a phono stage for a turntable setup at the girlfriend's place. Was between getting the PM-5005 and connecting them to some old Polk RTi's that I have or going the active speaker route with the Audioengine A5+ and a cheap phono...
