This C5 is really amazing, I cannot get over the sound that comes out of this little thing. I wanna say what a good job they have done with it would love to see a new version in the some what future with some more improvements.

you gonna be surprised at how well the soundstage is presented it's very good on my 650's I think the c5 and the 400i would be perfect as people say the soundstage is narrow as for bass boost it's less boomy compared to the e12 but still very natural sounding if you heard the ifi dac and amp...

That's strange that your WAV files ain't working hope you work it out, are they original WAV files or converted?

Ok so I've being reading people being have issue with there aliens and this is what I've found to work for me with formatting and music files converting. So I've tried a few formatting programs and some didnt help even work not sure why... I use GUIformatter for formatting which I use a 64gb...

Yup if want a bigger soundstage with clean and crisp sound the c5 is it, it's amazing for the price

Mid bass is lacking but sub bass is good when it needs to be it very balanced so it doesn't have any mid bass hump like some other HP. The 2k bass is more controlled and defined not boomy as the shures but ill take it any day. As to the ZO2.3 i have no clue but it might don't have it to tell you...

Everything lol! bass might be a bit soft at 1st but sub bass is good but everything else will amaze you

Yes was the actual pin on the cable, the shell was fine for me I just centre the pin and its being fine since no issues I tried with the Shure cable to see if it was the shell or the cable and it was the cable. Seems like if the pins were off abit it caused it to cut out while I was wearing...

The cable itself? or the sound coming from the cable? but ive tried the shure SE215 cables and they fit so well if thats any help sound wise didnt notice much difference

Yeah with a hair clip just gently try to move it central without breaking anything my left side connector pin was abit bent so I just tried to centre it more. But I wouldn't do it unless you can see it being not central or bent abit

I had the same problem check the pin in the left connector to see if its bent a bit if it is, I just got a pin and moved it more centre and now its fine. Hope this might help also could be needs a clean.

Ive being using my 2k with my new Shozy Alien DAP and comparing it with the Fidue A83, im still in love with these iem but they both have their strength and weakness. 

sound is loud enough I haven't pushed it as far as it goes yet with all my Iem's and I used them with my 650 and it was ok but I used my cayin c5 to actually drive them . Song normally load pretty quick like 2-3 seconds if changing folder but normally toggle is quick.

I'm using my Cayin C5 with the alien, I'm liking what's coming from out it. on another note how bright is the LED.. I went to bed listening to it and wow the little light is bright.  

Got mine today and all I can say is WOW! using my Dunu 2k and HD650 so far i'm really impressed more impressions to come :)

I got HD650 and the c5, the soundstage is great sound is good and it cant drive them quite well no issues
