DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
I found that an easy way to insert or take out the microSD card is to use the corner of a debit/credit card. You can try that. Also, about the microSD card trouble..I was also having trouble having the DX200 detect my microSD card. It didn't detect it at all until I enabled Android...- RainHeaven

Schiit Jotunheim Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Hello, I have a pair of Mrspeakers Ether C and I would like to upgrade DAC/AMP. Would the Jotunheim (amp only) be a good pairing? I read earlier that its good with the Ether C Flow (different but should be pretty similar). Also, any recommendations for what DAC to pair with the Jotunheim...- RainHeaven

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
Might be because I'm just used to it now but I don't really have any problems with the bass. All I do is listen to electronic music and even with bass-heavy genres the bass seems to be enough for me. I only use the 1.1 foam, no pads. Though soon upgrading to the Flow version I'm sure I would...- RainHeaven

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
Thanks for the suggestion. In the near future when I have saved enough money I was planning to look into some DAC/AMPs totaling up to $1500 total and the Chord Mojo seems pretty convincing for now.- RainHeaven

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
As I said a while ago, got my Ether Cs almost a week ago. My god I already love them to death. Upgraded from Alpha Dogs that I had used for 2 years with an average of 6-7 hours per day. I haven't even tried them with DAC+AMP yet because I don't have my interconnect cable with me and they sound...- RainHeaven

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
A little bit over 2 years later and maybe ~4500 hours of listen time with my Mrspeakers Alpha Dogs, I am extremely excited to buy the Ether C after I get back from US Navy bootcamp. Its so nice to read so many great things about this headphone which I plan to make it my end-game. Thank you for...- RainHeaven

Zero Audio - ZH-DX200 Carbo Tenore | ZH-DX210 Carbo Basso (Carbon & Aluminium IEM) thread
Its been a while since I've came into this thread.. I rarely listen to music through IEMs because I really don't have any opportunities to listen portably. One day I decided to listen through IEMs which I haven't done in months. I have Dita The Answer @ $650 and just wasn't quite satisified...- RainHeaven

Do remember that these headphones are closed-back and thus not a fair comparison with open-back headphones like the ones you just mentioned.- RainHeaven

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
Ah, that reminds me. I let someone try my DITA Answer IEMs at school on Friday. He listened and told me it was a lot more crisper. Then I told him the price and he was freaking out ($650). "You're a real music listener!" That response made me quite happy instead of the usual "Why would you...- RainHeaven

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
Thats pretty normal really. I'm pretty sure that most non-audiophiles can not tell the difference in audio quality right away. They are also probably not paying attention much to the quality anyways (Most people always focus on loudness or bass or w/e). When I got my first audiophile...- RainHeaven

Rockbox for iBasso DX90 dual boot with Mango (Stock Firmware)
Hi, I've been having problems trying to get the DX90 to recognize my Sandisk 128gb microSD card after installing Rockbox with no sucess. First of all, yes it is a legitimate microSD card from Sandisk bought from Amazon. When I use the stock firmware V2.1.0, the memory card works perfectly fine...- RainHeaven

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones Part II
Plenty of reasons for this. It may not be worth the money to them despite hearing the audio quality. They are probably not that enthusiastic about music and audio as the most of us on Head-fi. Etc, etc.- RainHeaven

It could also be that the previous owner has messed with the bass-tuning. You should check that too. Otherwise, I don't know how you got that problem.- RainHeaven
