Which headphone to buy: JVC HA-M5X Xtreme Xplosives vs Sennheiser HD 449?
Are you at all worried about comfort? the JVCs hurt your ears after awhile. Also, the JVCs are pretty great with bass but painfully mediocre everywhere else. Also, the pads do not sit around the ears- rosseg

Help finding bassy cans for under $200
Budget: Sub $200 Location: Canada Source: iPod, Laptop (Don't want cans that need an amp) Isolation: Not needed, Preferred Type: Over-ear and closed. Relatively large soundstage would be an added bonus. I'd take a open or semi-open pair that doesn't leak too much. Tonal...- rosseg

Nothing much to say about these. You get a huge bang for your buck in sound quality, but build quality is what you'd expect from <$50 cans. They are by no means audiophile cans. Although, for the general masses, I would recommend them no questions asked if they are looking for budget headphones.- rosseg
