    Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread

Got my hands on some Beyerdynamic velour pads (replacement for DT880) and they *kinda* fit. The flaps of the pads hook on to the earcups about 75% around, but because the flaps are too short it won't properly hook to the bottom corner of the earcups, the part where the plastic tab gets wide. If...

    The hate on beats, why?

I agree with subsonic1050, comparing Beats to Apple doesn't make much sense at all. Apple gets a lot of flak, but they were the innovators in a lot of areas. iTunes+iPod made purchasing music digitally mainstream back when people were still buying CDs. iPhone changed a hell of a lot back when...

    Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread

After using for it a week now, I'm still very impressed with this headphone. Very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is fantastic (using my Fiio E10). The sound on my portable cans, the UE6000, feels almost cramped in comparison. It's a shame that Sony discontinued this model though.

    The hate on beats, why?

Beats always looked sharp and sleek to me, not to mention very recognizable with the flashy color options. I can see why the general population likes it so much as a status symbol. But of course, they're also uncomfortable (to me at least), overpriced, and have waaaay to much bass so I'm never...

    Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread

Thanks! I think I was pretty lucky when I stumbled upon the MA900 while researching. It deserves a lot more love, especially for those who wear headphones hours at a time.

    Sony MDR MA900 Impressions Thread

Got one for $200 and it arrived today. Initial impressions are good, surprisingly light and build quality is very minimalistic as people have said. Comfort is really impressive (most important thing to me above all else) but kinda different from other headphones. This one feels like nothing is...
