Review by 'international' on item 'Sony XBA-40/N Gold | Quad Balanced Armature In-Ear Headphones (Japanese Import)'
The prices on these IEMs vary so my rating is based on value as a major rating...I purchased mine for $200USD. You would buy these because you want a fun signature...you would buy these because you are an individual that tweaks with the EQ... The first impression is the bass and...- international

Review by 'international' on item 'Astrotec AX35'
I am not a basshead or on that induces drugs of any kind prior to auditioning. In fact to be frank, I was so guttered, I felt I had to write something that was short and truthful for fellow head fiérs. I am writing with a tearing heart. Despite all that is on paper that is good about this IEM, I...- international

Astrotec AX30, AX35 Hybrid IEMs Discussion Thread
That is quite unusual for a model that's being noted to have a decent bass punch line. Perhaps some burn i given that it does comprise of a dynamic driver for the bass. Wonder what actual difference between 30 and 35. As far as I tell it's the cables? Specifications same?- international

Distributor of Shure dispatched out a new set for me within the week...it's labeled as SPE in NZ as opposed to LTD or SE. Quite surprised that it's come to an end...the difference between standard...- international

JVC's Micro HD Line: HA-FXD80/70/60
Can anyone compare these to the Denon C710? Definite recess in the mids. Perhaps better overall detail articulation? Cannot get hold of any in NZ :( Can I also just confirm that the FRD80 is technically the same unit as FXD80 with the addition? Seems to be cheaper but the mic does put me...- international

IEM for ~$50
The best $50 or so that I have spent was on the Sony XBA C10...shipping to NZ isnt exactly cheap but should be well suited to your situation. You will find many reviews out there but let me tell you it definitely outperforms what you might think are $50 IEMs!- international

Shure SE215 or UE600: Please help me.
Give the UE600 a shot! For $30 is cheap as chips! That takes the two into totally different playing field in terms of the price. Generally speaking single BA do suffer from the lack of bass. The so-called bass port on the Shure SE315 still cannot match the bass on the SE215...But at 30 bucks...- international
