The only good headphones I've seen before out in town were the DT770 and more recently the Sennheiser Momentum.     But yesterday, I almost got brought to tears when I recognize the all mighty AKG K812 in the subway. The dude just had this scornful smile on his face though when he checked out...

I came out of this completely fine (though eyes and throat were hurting like hell for a moment because of the gas).   Thanks for the kind feedback :D, I wish I could carry on photography, but I chose to begin collecting headphones instead (i.e. money problems).

The fake card can be properly busted only when you receive it : the print is monochrome, it wears of easily (scratch it a little bit), and on my fake card, it wasn't even printed straight. Forgot to write the true reference down though.

I currently use the DX50 with a K551 and I have to say this is a surprsingly beast combo. Sound is crisp clear and full, soundstage is awesome for a closed HP, bass punches and is not heavy at all, more like dry (that can be an issue for some people). Also, some people had problems with the...

Heh, of course YT is not a good source for audio. Though here, videos are posted for reference more than anything. If you get interested in the song you previewed in the video, you cna then go ahead and get the lossless HiRes version.

If you really want Beats (there are countless threads about Beats alternatives for way cheaper and better SQ), just don't pay attention to how genuine they are. The fake ones actually sound better to me (less drooling overall sound), and some of my non audiophile friends absolutely couldn't tell...
