iFi iDSD Micro DSD512 / PCM768 DAC and Headphone Amp. Impressions, Reviews and Comments.
As op said, really nice customer service. Windows seems becoming easier to use when higher rates are involved. Tidal runing MQA seems better on pc than mac. I may change.- rickyleelee

iFi Audio nano iDSD Black Label (TOUR details - PAGE 12 / TOUR participants - page 26 post #386)
My local distributor isn't that techy. Don't expect a retailer to be better. Some don't even know what mqa is. They can't explain. Sorry if offended retailer.- rickyleelee

I feel sorry for gavin fish because it now seems larry was the brains and gavin took the fall for the crowd funding. hard to stomach with so many people he is not trying every thing to deliver on the product but flying around the world to raise even more money by pushing new product on others...- rickyleelee

i would get the X5 gen3 as transport for either the Black Label or the Mojo. try both and decide for yourself. i only look for adivice to go in which directoin and then make my own mind up. you should like both and the sonic qualities/flexibilites to suit you. these two are the two best of the...- rickyleelee

LH Labs Geek Out v2 Discussion Thread
my friend had one of these and it messed up the frequency response. was unlistenable. like the other guy said, try the iem match. you would be hard pressed to hear a change in the freq response. the impedance level is really low like next to nothing at 1-3 ohms which is zilcb.- rickyleelee

Geek Pulse: Geek desktop DAC/AMP by Light Harmonics
Was at the recent Shanghai Show a few weeks ago. Larry Ho was there marketing a new DAC. About $6k price point. I don't go to the US much, does Larry Ho go to any more USA show? i don't even see LH advertising anywhere like here on head fi. i might have missed with the new head fi web...- rickyleelee

Only use feedback as a guide. Your ears are your ears and you buy with your dollars. There are other products people are in love with here that I bought and sold quite quickly. it is personal taste.- rickyleelee

What the $^&# heck is it?.........iFi iEMatch!
I might be wrong but normal output say 2v is better so digital or vl pot can be used more open. If you have so much gain, you can't increase the vol pot and digital or non digital it is at the worst end of performance. Reading earlier pages digital vols cut the bits resolution. So able to go...- rickyleelee

wow 3v RMS sure is a lot of output. that is one heck of a boosted output. you need to level match to compare with and without. chord cd players have 6v on balanced outs. always need to level match otherwise the loudest always most impressed.- rickyleelee

Nice review. informative - I showed it to a few friends who are evaluating a few headamps. I have borrowed the Auralic and its sonic signature was too plain boring for me. And it cost more money.- rickyleelee

ifi do you ban negative posters? You should say something because other brands do and so their threads stay clean with endless positive only comments. I don't like censors in hong kong we are have high sensitivity so on this point I don't buy from those who censor their threads as I detest this...- rickyleelee

ifI iCan Pro - Impressions & Discussion
Nice to read something different with different tunes. Just wish some people would talk to a manufacturer straight and stop looking for attention and sympathy from others on a forum. If manufactuturer didn't reply to email or support the product fair enough but some people just love to criticise...- rickyleelee

Bro. I've had the mojo for several months. It places you in the middle of the orchestra like surround sound. The BL places the orchestra on from of you with real scale and depth like in a concert hall. One is real. The other is not. Try to think of it this way. My 2 cts.- rickyleelee

Really really in depth review job well written. Agree with most of what you say. borrowed my black label to two audio friends and they have put their m*je for sale. They shouldn't lose much money as they got it a a great discount - so was a good buy. I will send your review to them for them to...- rickyleelee

the pro ican auto shuts down the tube section when not in use. the leds below the tubes go off afaik. the support system is pretty good. what did the suport people? not many companies have good product support. you should try there and if you are not happy post here but trouble shot with them...- rickyleelee
