Where did you order a pair of the UE900 bi flanges? 

  Perfect I think I have something just like this laying around the apartment :P. Yeah if I do it I would stop short of the housing as you said, it looks like it isn't going to disappear easily, plus if it got loose towards the housing it would drive me crazy.

I would guess he is wondering if the headphones ship the same day as purchase, maybe particularly in reference to this upcoming sale. I would imagine at the very least the wizard models do not.

  Sorry I've now specified the SD-2. Realistically isn't balanced and neutral pretty much the same thing? I listen to a lot of jazz so being a little bright (high-mid leaning) is preferred to me.

    Yeah, these are the "re-release" mentioned previously, or just really old stock.  A couple sites have them for 250. Ive moved onto deciding between the SD-2s v Noble 4 :P...no deals to be had there though.
