Do tube type of amplification provide a strong bass compared to a S-S type?

I mean the bottle head. The bottle head looks like a low quality amp to my eyes. 

Why would you use a cheapy low quality amplifier on the HD800. And why not just go with the bottle head crack if you are going to use it.

TO ME, I dont think its worth 1,299 for something that is exactly like the yulong d18, its probably sound same. Not worth it to pay extra for small screen and usb audio technology.

Is anyone selling an A18 amplifier? 

Thank you for the input you have given me. Theres a pretty large price difference between the 2, it also appears that the Matrix amp isnt on the same level of the A18 according to the review. The A18 doesn't appear to be available used in the trade section either.

Thank you for your input. Its a bit of a gamble with this hobby I suppose and living in a state that do not carry any of what Im looking to audition doesnt help either.
