Has anyone tried these in direct comparison with the iBasso CF01 and / or the FiiO utws5?

Well, the thing is, when I was doing the ABX tests on my desktop I 'thought' I could hear a difference betwee FLAC and V0, but the test results showed I actually couldn't. Hence the original question.    And mp3 320 are about 30-35% larger than V0, so if V0 is sufficient, I'd rather stick...

Well, V0 has an almost 60% smaller file size vs FLAC, which means a lot more CDs on the player :-) If I could be convinced that I really can't hear the difference between the two (and I don't know of another way of doing it besides an ABX test).

I did! The SE 3-way got the highest score (and the only 5/5 for isolation from the whole bunch), closely followed by Miracle - he didn't include the SE 5-way. Soundwise he rated the Etys as 9.1, the SE 3-way as 9.7 and the Miracle as 10 (!). But to my surprise, the Etys are consistently...

Hm, that's interesting. I tried all the original tips back when I got the ER-4Ps and promptly dismissed everything but the foam. Too promptly perhaps? Will give them another try later today.
