Well, I do on a regular basis...   I use the rubber band mod and my ears are made of steel so I get next to no comfort issues now that I'm use to them (There's been times where I've had these on for 11-13 hours). Although I do get the occasional odd look when wearing them out I couldn't care...

looks like it. in the 2 different pictures the small dimple on the knob is in different locations, which makes my think that is is at least something that can be spun and probably is a volume control.

I've used his track because it's inherently terribly trebly so if I can sit through the song without any pain the headphones are doing something good.

How harsh is the treble through the phvi's with this song? (It's the song that I use for determining the harshness of treble, with my current headphones the ultrasone pro 900's the song is bording on painful, not quite there, but certainly getting there.) The phvi's should arrive at my door...

Just purchased the pandora hope vi's. Now it's time to wait for them to arrive. I'm upgrading from the ultrasone pro 900's and am hoping for a more natural sound whilst keeping the "fun" factor and also for it to be straight up better for what I listen to.

Jumping aboard the speculation train, I believe that portable schiit or a little schiit as I'd like to call it would make sense because in Jason's first hint mentions movement and not wanting to become stagnant, meaning something to do with an on the go product aka the little schiit. 

If I were to get a high spec amp having it sound like schiit wouldn't be a bad thing. I here they make some pretty good amps
