QLS QA360: Another DSD-capable DAP
My QA360 has been in my hand over 100 days/ 500 Hrs. Hold Hifiman HM901 and IBASSO DX100 at the same time, QA360 has been the most played(almost the only) played portable source in the past three months. I am a careless user and QA360 endured at least half dozen drop from hand hold position and...- teddy-no-ear

I haven't got chance to compare to AK, just speculate from what I heard--QA360 should easily win over AK when driving big headphones- teddy-no-ear

QLS QA360: Another DSD-capable DAP
QLS boosts it's Single Threaded Software Framework , it has it's advantage but also with limitations. I think at the moment there is no hope for a quick fix of firmware. QLS is very good at past product support, you can ask them if they have plan to improve 360 on FLAC support.- teddy-no-ear

QLS QA360: Another DSD-capable DAP
I am listening A Book Like This by Angus & Julia Stone with HD650 plug in QA360. Sound pretty nice, volume at 102, HD650 sounds well driven. I can feel the change of BASS department in past three days of burn in . Bass was in decline first day of burn in, but came back now with better depth and...- teddy-no-ear

QLS QA360: Another DSD-capable DAP
To my like, HM901 with balance amp card still is the best sounding DAP among these three. I am not sure was it due to the limitation of AMP section of QLS QA360 or MR Chen's preference, 360's base is not as fast and punchy as HM901's. Over all QA360 is roughly at the same level compare with...- teddy-no-ear

HM-901
I have both DX100 and HM901. To my own ear, hm901 worth the price difference sound wise. DX100 sounds good enough with plenty of detail, but HM901 has better sound stage and more engaging vocal and more energetic instrumental.- teddy-no-ear

DAP shopping---HiFiMAN HM-700
I have HM700 and HM601 Slim 4GB. HM700 sounds way above HM601. The sound of 700 is much more balanced and transparent than that of 601. Battery life of 700 is 2X more than 601 and size halved.- teddy-no-ear

HM-901
The exploding charger was a bit misleading. I read the original post- the owner mistakenly short the output plug while charger was on and damaged the output bit of wire. But the charger was still working all right after the short.- teddy-no-ear
