Bought the Sennheiser HD 650 a few days ago from a local store. Been running them through the Schiit Audio Modi and Magni stack, which powers the headphones really well too, haven't found the need to turn the volume pot more than 9 o'clock.

If I may chime in here, perhaps one of the factors for the increased waiting time for re-fits is due to Jaben's shipping procedure. If I'm not mistaken, Jaben tends to do `bulk' shipping to reduce shipping costs; so, they may have waited for a week or two to compile any refit(s) and new order(s)...

I have used the AK120 as a bluetooth source to Bose Soundlink II Bluetooth speaker before, so I'm sure it can transmit.   Perhaps it is a compatibility issue or requires some setting on midnightwalker's car stereo?

Perhaps you accidentally selected automatic library scan when you first booted the player after the update? You can go under Settings to switch it to Manual.

I'm listening to the AK120 and TG!334 at around 35, and I turn up the volume to 38 when on Miracles, mostly for outdoor environments. The TG! 334 is really sensitive though, noticeable hiss when no music is playing.

If I'm not mistaken, the demo units at the store opens the bass port by a bit (1 out of the 4 notch).   I had the chance to try a fellow Head-Fi'er's ASG-2 at the recent Singapore Head-Fi Meet almost immediately after trying the TG! 334 of another attendee. The ASG-2 had it bass port opened...

I don't think Joe has Silver Widow cable for demo.   If kenz is going, perhaps you can ask, but I'm sure there are several other Silver Widow cable owners as well.
