Hi I've tried the amp but it was too short a listen to describe the sound. The 320 does not really fit the amp flushed so I'm kind of put off by it. Either way when I get the 240ss or the 320 it's going to be paired with my rsa intruder for my he560 and jh13fp.

I guess you got to restart your ak120 each time you plug in the optical cable. Hope this helps!

Hi, can I run the he560 with my portable rig of ak120 + RSA intruder? Would it be decent sq coming out of the headphones compared to desktop setups?

Was thinking of getting ak120 to pair with intruder. Currently I'm using dx50's line out. Anyone can provide opinions on how they sound? Wasn't thinking of dx90 cuz I own a dx50 and it's in the same form also.

Hi mrhizzo, wouldnt you use the dual dacs in the ak120 due to the sq as well as high price you're paying for the device? I feel that you should get a good amp to pair with it. I would recommend RSA Intruder as I own one and feel that its sq is sublime

Hmm I'm pretty sure my intruder would perform much better than the amp section of zx1.... maybe the dac in my rig is the limiting factor? How about changing to ipod classic - clas DB - rsa intruder? Does the dac in clas outperform the one in zx1?

How does the zx1 sq compare to my rig (dx50 + rsa intruder) ? Is it worth to buy?

Rudi's review mentions that the duet wins the intruder. Any opinions? I only have the intruder so I'll stick by it.

Sorry what I meant was areas such as soundstage, imaging etc. Cuz I only demoed it for awhile at a recent mook fest.
