Need help choosing some inexpensive (<$40) Sennheiser Earphones

For $39.55 USD I can have both the Panasonic RPHJE450  and the Panasonic RPHJE355. Is it worth it to get both? Or should I just get the Panasonic RPHJE355.  Are they so similar in sound that it would be hard to tell the difference between the two.    thanks

Need help choosing some inexpensive (<$40) Sennheiser Earphones

I think I may go with The Panasonic RPHJE355. I am looking at earphones instead of headphones because I want portability and isolation. My hd 518s (which I LOVE and am listening to right now) are wayyy to open to be out in public with. :) Are these panasonics ported at all? I also like the...

Need help choosing some inexpensive (<$40) Sennheiser Earphones

Thank you for your reply! I will look into all of those. Other notes: I do not like in line volume control and a symmetrical cable is preferable.  thank you so much! Other recommendations are greatly appreciated! :)

Need help choosing some inexpensive (<$40) Sennheiser Earphones

I am looking to buy some new Sennheiser Earphones. Looking in the <$40 price range. I listen to mostly techno, and house music. Although I listen to "bass heavy" music, I DO NOT like headphones where bass over powers everything, and mids and highs suck. I prefer a flatter frequency response...

    Sennheiser HD515 vs HD 518

Does anyone know of a cable with these specs? Right angle 3.5mm -> 1/4", about 6" long, and gold plated? I really like gold plating to match all of my other accessories (yeah I am a little...OK a lot OCD) and they last seem to hold a connection a tad longer.    I found this cable but would...

    Sennheiser HD515 vs HD 518

Thank you so much I will probably get the E7 then. Looks great and low price. Then I wouldn't have to use the crap they built into my laptop :) I know it comes with a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter, but I am looking for one with cable in the middle (6" or less) to reduce strain on the headphone jack, also...

    Sennheiser HD515 vs HD 518

I just purchased the HD518s off of Amazon today for a great deal, $105.00 with free shipping. :) I will let you know how I like them. If anyone could recommend a cheap external DAC with both USB and Optical/Coax that would be great. Also a good quality/gold plated 1/4" to 3.5 mm short...

    Sennheiser HD515 vs HD 518

I would just like to say THANK YOU very much! I think that is what I will end up doing. Any other responses are very much appreciated too though. Is there enough quality there to justify the extra $41.00 USD (HD518 $129.50 VS HD515 $88.95)

    Sennheiser HD515 vs HD 518

I am really new to headphones and want to get into them more. I want to start with some low price but still good quality headphone. I am seriously looking at the HD515 (Last generation) and the HD518. I listen to a lot of house/progressive house music and some piano/instrumental music. I like...
