They are very good sounding with a wide stage and great stereo separation, I still enjoy listening to them. Just pray you never need Philips for any customer service. I have still never received a response for my cable issue...

What do you have a remote to control volume? Your obviously far from your source\controls if you need a cable that long! Your the first person that's said anything positive about the cable. I tried the management clip and it still isn't working for me. I'm right next to my amps.

I think they should make and send out a new, shorter cable to those who purchased this hp! Who the hell needs a cable this long? And the connection issues are just embarrassing... Sound is fantastic...too bad.

I unfortunately have to agree. What's really irritating is Philips didn't even respond (beyond the automatic responses) to my concerns with the connector. I even told them I was a member here and no one from Philips ever got back to me. Too bad because it's a fantastic sounding headphone.

Update for anyone out there who has this can, I now think the Shure pads are way to go. Both pads sound great and much better comfort\feel than the stock pad. Anyone interested in the pads effect on sound can read the pdf linked above. This hp is amazing imo and continues to impress for the price!
