try setting both dap and pc with same bit rate and frecuency in audio settings (worked for me). IIRC dap is set to 32 bits as default- redbeam

Is this a fake JVC HA-FXT90 (l2) pair?
I expected them to be refurbished ones but it was not the case. The cable is less stiffer and less rugged, thinner but almost unnoticeable. The L plug is also a bit smaller than the real ones. the earphone housing has a somehow cheap chrome, also the engraved JVC logo is bigger in the fake...- redbeam

I've just got mine from aliexpress too, and at first sight i can say these are fake, the build quality is indeed cheap compared to the originals (which i still have but missing 1 earpiece/speaker). thanks guys, I fixed it, indeed it was an eq issue. I had moved the values for bass and treble at +12 / -4 plus the EQ set for bass and that was causing the distortion, I'm now using the eq only, though I'm still trying to find the best bass setup for my ears. I don't use to hear that loud...- redbeam
