I didn't know there was a old and new model. The one I have now has "Alpen" on the back and I believe the one before that did too.

Ordered two e17's this week from amazon and both gave me a charging error (flashing red light) this is lame. I just want a working amp.

Just got my second e17. Sent my first one back and ordered a new one. This one is broken too (no charge). I got them both from Amazon . Just a heads up to everyone.

It seems to be a problem of late. Like they had a bad batch or something.

I just got a e17 in the mail yesterday. Let it charge all night on a usb wall charger and it got nothing. I thought maybe it could be the charger so I plugged it into my laptop but still nothing. Do I have a dud or is there something I am missing. USB Charge is on. (Very annoyed)

Hello all,   I got my M-100's and they are cool. I paired them with a e17 and that made them much better. Might double amp to get a little more bass. I also ordered the S4's and I forgot I had the amp turned all the way up (gain on 12) and they blew out in about half a second. Not really...

I am pretty set on the M-100 but I want to try the Yamaha Pro 500 & M-100 out. Anyone know where in Colorado (Denver) one might do that.

Been doing some more reading... I am going to use a FiiO E17 with either  DT 770 PRO - 250 ohms or M-100. I am leaning toward the M-100's. Source is a Ipod Classic playing mostly Hip-hop and R&B. Opinions on the two?

Hello,   I came across this website looking for bass headphones. I read a couple of threads and feel like the Sony MDR-XB1000 & FiiO E11 would be a good combo. Just wanted a opinion or two before I buy. Also I can spend a little more money on the amp is there a better one (E07K or e17?).
