If anyone's having formatting or sorting issues where your tracks aren't in sequence, I have a crude solution: Using MP3 Tag, ctrl-a, and select the auto-numbering wizard at the tool bar, and use the value 100 for 'begin at track-number' It helps to also change the file name of your songs to...- slayerx44

Advanced AcousticWerkes partners with Null-Audio for new line of low cost CIEMs, including hybrids
I've sent a Lune cable for retermination before and that took 2 weeks. Asked the staff before and I believe they have a huge increase in the number of orders. That could probably be the cause of your delays.- slayerx44

Advanced AcousticWerkes partners with Null-Audio for new line of low cost CIEMs, including hybrids
I experienced the same problem but only with a aftermarket cable. The default cable was perfectly fine for me. Simply flipping one side of the aftermarket cable's earphone side connecter fixed it for me. I told Null about this and I received a Arete cable as a replacement. I believe it's a...- slayerx44

Advanced AcousticWerkes partners with Null-Audio for new line of low cost CIEMs, including hybrids
The Bass of the A2H-V is pretty weak. It's there, but nowhere as impactful and prominent than the W300s which certainly the best bass I've heard on any C/IEMS I own Vocals are pretty nice on both too. Treble is definitely much better in the W300, which is likely its main attraction. It is able...- slayerx44

Creative Sound blaster E5 - Headphone amp + USB DAC with OTG + Toslink + aptX + recording + more.
Is it weird that I can control the line out volume ( through USB host ) from my iDevice when I connect the E5 to a desktop amp? The volume pot on the E5 also works too. Isn't volume control usually disabled ?- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
If I'm not mistaken , the headphone side Jack uses a balanced 4 pole connection ( count 3 of those black stripes ) I've no experience in these but I guess this means it has a L signal and L ground wire and the same for the R. The old MDR-1R uses a normal 3 pole ( 2 black stripes ) un-balanced...- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
Sorry but I have no expreience with spotify. However, for home listening you should have no problems. If it helps, I listen on 57-60db measured using the CanOpener App and doesnt leak ( with some mild traffic in the background )- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
Leaks too much for me and isolates too little for me If you're on a iPhone, anything above 5 or 6 notches on the volume control and it'll start to leak, not too bad for home use but for a silent library I guess it'll be pretty noticeable. But libraries are never dead silent anyways so I guess if...- slayerx44

Sony's new flagship 2014 - MDR-Z7
Can anyone try this out on your own Z7 ? Seems like the position of your head affects the pitch of some tones in the sound. For example, sit down on a chair and listen while looking down ( chin touches upper chest ). Then lift your head up and stare at the ceiling , parts of the song seem to...- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
I use mine mainly at home and in the car. Isolation is pretty bad as you might have heard. Comfort is really good though, even better than the MDR-Z7. There also have a problem ( for me ) of sound leaking out. Where I live, the nights are really really quiet and I run into the problem where I...- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
A safer bet would be to email them first Though I remember there's a period where you can immediately swap for a replacement , not too sure on that I do know for a fact that for replacement parts, a full deposit is needed before the item ( ie earpads ) are shipped out with a 2 week lead time...- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
Sony's Customer Service is pretty good here in my country, replies within a few hours, good luck on your replacement! If you're on iOS , the stock music app has a L/R balancer thing I remember from somewhere only sony's cable will work due to the balanced circuitry inside, the headphone side...- slayerx44

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
Have never handled any of the series before, but are the joints connecting the cups to the headband plastic or metal? ( the silvery grey thing ) Also are the cups plastic too? I heard somewhere that they were actually aluminum hence the "A" designation- slayerx44

Review: Estron Linum BaX --- New IEM Cable for a New Age
Could I just ask anyone who owns the cable, how is it's memory retention ? Does it tend to coil up as when you keep it in your case? I'm coming from a Effect Audio Apollo which coils really badly when left by itself.- slayerx44

Aurisonics ASG-1.3 Review (Updated: 14MAY2013)
Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately , it's unlikely that the seller would accept a return unless it's from somewhere reputable ( eg. Amazon ). It could also be possible that the seller did not know he himself was using a 1.2 revision. Even so, you should still contact him. Hope you can get a...- slayerx44
