Earlier I stated that I thought the X2 was superior in virtually every way, but I just prefer the sound of the MA900.  The Fidelio just had too much bass for me and I felt that it clashed with the clarity that I'm used to from the MA900 and other Sennheiser headphones.

I still love the ma900 but the build definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I can't wait to try the fidelio x1. Wonder which one ill end up liking more

  You're right.  I just have a liking to the headphones because I customized the shield and really like the looks of it.  I should just sell them since they're not my preference.

Thanks!   I definitely used the template.  At first I used photoshop then realized that I made a mistake.  Reason being is because the template in .psd format is pretty low resolution and I'm familiar with the fact that prints need really high DPI to come out clean.   I ended up redoing it...

I actually just bought these headphones from work today.  I get a very good price on them so they were well worth it for me, however the MSRP is too high on them.   If you're an audio enthusiast, i'd say these have the sound quality of the $200-250 sector when compared to hi-fi equipment.  ...

There's actually a fix for that.  I cut some electrical tape and covered up the holes on the side, and it completely made that problem go away

Reading about the comfort issues with the X1 has me apprehensive.  Like I said, the only thing I can complain about with the MA900's are the build quality.  In terms of sound and comfort, I don't know if they'll be beat compared to the X1.   Which one would you say you prefer out of the two?
