Problem kind of solved (WARNING: Don't buy anything from HDTracks)
I purchase and download from HDTracks weekly, I am very happy with their service but also a little concerned at times. Intermittently I will receive warnings from malwarebyte, Norton Security or even (rarely) from my Windows 10 itself. I just ignore the warnings and hoping nothing sinister...- sutjahjo

I have quite a number of MCQ micro SD and they sound very good on AK380. I didn't directly compare them to the K2HD CDs though. The Korean Woong San album is particularly exceptional. -

As for as I know, all Groovers MQS micro SD series are made in Korea by A&K subsidiary. -

Whatever the science is, I have tried listening to different versions of same songs with many CD and bluray audio. In every case (even on old recording with analog or low res original recording), the bluray audio (high res) sound obviously (doesn't mean a lot, but its very obvious) better in...- sutjahjo

Minor difference, but to me personally, 1.24 and 1.25 are obviously better than all of the earlier firmware versions. I was using AK380+Hugo before 1.24, have not used much of Hugo since 1.24. I now find AK380 alone better than AK380+Hugo. At least with JHA Layla and Fitear 334.- sutjahjo

I personally like the SQ of AK380 since 1.24, and 1.25 is also very good. Probably not the consensus here.- sutjahjo

I bought them locally in Singapore at retailers (with pre-order). Last I check, it's also available at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01G7L03OS/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1468545904&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=256gb+micro+sd&dpPl=1&dpID=41Tu66N6mSL&ref=plSrch- sutjahjo

Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones
Even on old analog recording, the difference between 24/96 and 16/44.1 is obvious to me. One of the easiest is to compare the bluray and the CD of the latest Beatles one plus. They are all from the same remaster, and you should hear the difference if you gave a decent system.- sutjahjo

At the risk of repeating myself, we all have our own sense of value so let us all make our own purchase decision, I love the AK380 and I think it's worth the money, if some don't think so, he or she has every right not to buy. It's also OK to post your own subjective value opinions here (we all...- sutjahjo
