I recieved NECO V5 yestaday. V5 is so good better than V4,V3,V2. It has wide sound stage and no distortion with high dynamic range music. Example Title: Stravinsky: The Song Of The Nightingale, The Firebird, Rite of Spring Artist: Eiji Oue, Minnesota Orchestra

At mojo end is normal mini plug pattern.

I recommend you to use high gain setting when via phone out.

For portable I use Beyerdynamics DT-1350 ,Ultrasone HFI-780 and Focal SpiritPro (headphone) or HEIR Tzar350,Fidue A83(IEM). X3 2nd have plenty power to drive  these phones without portable amp. But with portable amp , I can hear more detailed sound. IMHO

My new portable gig is so good.​   X3 2nd stacked with E12DIY(Opamp LT1468-2 , Buffer HA-2002) used stacking kit for X1.

Yes,my friend is using DIP8 LT1010.

Opamp & Buffer combination of my friend is LT1364＋LT1010. He said "no problem"  

OPA627 has rich bass and treble shiny , such as a good anlog amplifier. On the other hand , the sound of this combo is very tight , such as a  digital amplifier.   Example might be not so good …　

I've tryed already LT1358 . Less detailed and transparent compare to LT1037 , but not edgy.

The sound of LT1037 is more detailed , transparent and slightly edgy than AD8620. LMH6321 has wider sound stage than BUF634.   I don't recommend this combination to OPA627 lovers.

I like the opamps manufactured by Linear Technology. LT1037+LMH6321 is my most favorable combination for my E12DIY.   I've orderd LT1468-2 and LT1010. I'll try to use LT1010 for buffer and new opamp combination.

Another option is Voyage MPD.   It is Debrin based MPD. The sound is very detailed and clear. Voyage MPD dosen't require machine power nor more strage size.   cheeers  

I've got new NOS Lorenz 1054B today in Japan. It nees break-in for a while.   My initial impression :  The sound stage is not so wide compare to Lorenz 3-mica and Tungsrum. But it has very detailed and transparent sound.     I'm very lucky

Tungsrum PCC88 NOS is so good. I bought from Yahoo auction in Japan.   This tube has  wide sound stage , tight bass , sillky treble and transparent sound. This is my best tube in my experience(Cryo 6N23P , Amperex Bugle boy , Lorenz 3dmica , GE 6B7Z) ,
