Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview
Just sent a inquiry to them about the headband. Been using the 5s with the old headband. Not too bad for me, but definitely feel the clamp after 45 mins. Otherwise they are friggin fantastic- Filleri

Audeze LCD-5 Review, Measurements, Interview
On a side note, does Audeze ship the less clampy headband upon request? I contacted customer service and they said they would ship it in a month. Been about two months and haven't heard anything from them.- Filleri

Audeze LCD-4
Really love my LCD X but recently been interested in upgrading to 4. Unfortunately i don't have opportunity to go listen to them. I'm mainly worried about my meridian prime amp not having enough guts to drive them. Anyone have tried them with the meridian?- Filleri

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone
How does the Empyrean compare to Focal Clear in terms of sound quality and comfort. Both seem to be praised for their balance of sound. I happen to be familiar with the Clear, since my friend owns one.- Filleri

Focal Listen Impressions and Review
Got myself the Listen Wireless for travel. So far liking the sound. They do have some resemblance to the Elear and Utopia. Treble is a tad forward. Sometimes it bothers me, but nothing unpleasant.- Filleri

Focal Listen Impressions and Review
Thinking about picking up the soon to be released Listen wireless. Assuming they are similar in SQ than the wired one?? How's the soundstage/imaging on these? Not expecting a HD800, but some soundstage and a precise imaging is a must for me.- Filleri

New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)
To Alypius: First of all, nice to see another Nightwish fan here. Being a huge fan myself, since Oceanborn album. (Also gotta support fellow Finns) I currently own both the HD650 and the T1 gen2. Honestly, i feel that the T1 is overall more refined. It has better resolution and is much more...- Filleri

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
If you have the money, the HD 800 S have my recommendation. Beyer T1 is a great headphone. It does so much so well. It's downfall is the treble, which i find just wrong sounding. Too strident.- Filleri

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
I have owned the T1 first version for a couple of years. Friend of mine bought the 2nd gen, so i can give you some comments on how it sounds. In all honesty. HD 800 S is playing a whole different game. It is much better in all aspects. (Disclaimer: This is just my opinion, on my system.) The T1...- Filleri

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
I recently entered a competition in my local hifi store and as luck would have it, won the HD 800 S. I previously had the original HD800 as my reference set, so i was very eager to try the new one. Now as great as the 800 is, in all honesty i felt the spike in the treble killed it for me. I...- Filleri

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
I´ve had my friends HD800 for a couple of weeks now. Have to return them by the end of the week. Awesome clarity and soundstage, but i find them really fatiguing. I guess its the treble region that bugs me the most and also the relatively lean bass. How much of a sacrifice is the HD650 compared...- Filleri

HD800 and T1 musings...
Has anybody heard these two headphones with Lehmann black cube. I know that Sennheiser used this amp to audition HD800s so they should be okay. How about the T1? I have a Nuforce HDP, but i´m seriously considering upgrading to Lehmann.- Filleri

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Yes the volume to my ears is pretty much the same when i change the headphones. One thing. T1 nominal impedance is 600ohm, but its something like well over 1000 ohm at 100 hz. So could it be that the HDP isn´t giving enough power to bring up the bass.- Filleri

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Just a quick question. Friend of mine has hd800 and we have the same amp/dac Nuforce Icon HDP. When i switch from the 800s to T1, i feel the bass is much better on the hd800. It is more full bodied and kicks harder. This is very strange. Could the HDP be part of the problem? Thinking of...- Filleri
