My Schiit came in today too.  I'm pairing them with a set of Denon AH-D7000's and this combo seems to be a winner!

If I recall correctly, parts of the others are billet aluminum and these are mainly steel.   

They weren't terrible.  I didn't spend enough time with them to really get an idea of the strengths and weaknesses.  If they were priced at around $600 they might even be worth a second look.  But at current pricing, I just think there are better options out there including used D7K's.

Almost pulled the trigger on a set of Beyerdynamic T1's for $913.07 but by the time I decided to buy them the price went back up to $1399...

Quick question - Should I be using the low gain output or the high gain output with Denon D7000s?  I notice on the low gain output that I have to have the volume knob around 2:00 most of the time and sometimes close to 4:00.  Would I damage my headphones if I tried them on the High gain output?

I have a burson HA-160D which I have been pairing with Denon DXXXX series so far.  Would this dac/amp be enough to power the LCD-2 rev 2?  I am considering buying a set of these and selling one of my denon pairs.  

Just received my pair of Denon D7000's.  I also have a pair of D2000's that I have owned for some time.  Very impressed with the finish on the wood cups.  Sound quality is a little bit better but I am not sure I will be keeping these.  I may pick up a pair of Audeze LCD2 to go with my D2000's...

I just saw a mint pair go for $825 shipped on ebay.  I put an offer in but evidently someone else is more eager to get them than I am.
