Classical Music IEM
Wow, the Havi B3 has got to be one of the cheapest dual-drivers I have ever seen, and it gets great reviews. Seems like something great to try out for the price.- AKGQ701

Classical Music IEM
As the title says, I'm looking for an IEM for classical music, and my budget is roughly $400, but I'm flexible with that number. Ideally, these IEM's would be flexible with different genres, as I also listen to acoustic, rap, and pop rock. Currently, my setup is DX50>JDS Labs C5>Etymotic...- AKGQ701

That's another one I'll keep in mind, though I've never DIY'ed anything audio related yet. Looks like Little Dot's offerings or a darkvoice 336 could be viable options as well.- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
Thanks to everyone who has posted their opinions and advice, glad to hear that the general consensus is that Q701==>T1 will be a great upgrade. Plan on grabbing those as soon as I find a good used deal. I'll certainly post my opinions on both headphones if anyone is interested. Just as an...- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
Thanks for digging that up, David's review certainly deserves respect. It's good to hear that it handles all genres well, as that is the biggest issue I have with my Q701's. Thanks again for help.- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
Digging deeper into T1 reviews, it definitely is a flagship. The only issue now will be avoiding spending $1000+ on a tube amp... Hopefully Schiit Valhalla will do it justice.- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
Good to know. I'll have to watch the FS section and do more research on them to see if it's a good fit, but initial impressions look good. Hopefully I can find a review that directly describes their capability with classical music.- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
They are in budget, but I have read very mixed opinions about them, especially the peak in their sound signature. Would it still eb suitable for classical music/other genres as well? I've seen these pop up in my budget as well, but haven't seen too much feedback regarding its performance...- AKGQ701

Amp/dac for orthodynamic headphones (Oppo PM-2)
I guess that separate pieces would be ideal just in case I do upgrade in the future (probably to the HD-800 at some point), but if a all in one solution is more cost effective then that works as well. In short, I'd like to get the most performance out of the money I spend.- AKGQ701

Amp/dac for orthodynamic headphones (Oppo PM-2)
As the title states, I'm wondering what would be a good amp/dac combination to pair with orthos like the Oppo PM-2. Budget is probably around $500 for both the amp/dac. Any help is appreciated, thank you!- AKGQ701

Wow, thank you for the heads up, this seems to meet every criteria I listed. I had no idea that they had designed a more affordable PM-1. If possible, do you know what sources (amp/dac) would go well with the PM-2? Thanks for your help- AKGQ701

Upgrade from AKG Q701
As the title suggests, I am looking for the next step up from the AKG Q701, which I have owned now for about 3 years. In terms of musical preferences, I mainly listen to classical and instrumental music, but I also listen to fair amounts of contemporary rock and pop music. As much as I enjoy...- AKGQ701
