Where exactly can I buy some K612s? And can anyone tell me how the treble response is? Im looking for something just a little bit bright.

Anyone here know how an Asgard 2 and Bifrost will affect some HD558s and some Shure SRH-940s? I dont have the amp or DAC yet, or the SRH-940s. But I expect to have them within the next 2 weeks or so. So Im curious how the sound will change.

I want some treble, not mountains of treble....

Sennheiser HD558. I love them, but I cant help but feel they could have more sparkle in the treble. Currently looking at getting some AH-D2000s or SRH-940s to solve that problem, thoughts?

There is a rather well known mod to the HD558 that involves taking out a small piece of foam on the inside of the headphones, it has been proven to a reasonable degree that doing this makes the HD558s sound exactly like the HD598. As for the soundstage, I dont think they are different at all...

Im rather curious as to what they would sound like it you put them into an open back headphone carcass. Perhaps buy something cheap like some Superlux cans or something and stick the LP driver in there.
