THE DIY HEADPHONE STAND THREAD
Quote: TrollDragon, That's slick! I wouldn't mind doing something like that myself. I don't see any solder at the joints. Did you just press the pieces together, use some other method, or are you just that good?- edriley

What program do you use to play your music? (itt: we debate itunes jk)
Quote: Roller, Thanks for the links! They let me know that there is a lot of good stuff out there. Unfortunately, none of it seems to work with JRiver. Looks like I might have to wait a while for them to improve theirs. I'll give them a while before I try another setup...- edriley

What program do you use to play your music? (itt: we debate itunes jk)

"That can be done, but takes a bit of work. Either you need to add the foo_run component through the "attrib "%_path%" +H" (without the outside quotation marks), or externally change individual track attributes to hidden." Roller, That's why I went looking for an alternative to...- edriley

What program do you use to play your music? (itt: we debate itunes jk)

mrAdrian, In response to your question,"Speaker person? So many dampening is going on in the room!", you are correct! My particular desk configuration is an L-shaped desktop, with shelves above the desktop. My seat, computer, headphone and speaker amps are in the middle or corner of...- edriley

THE DIY HEADPHONE STAND THREAD
I wanted to setup a dual holder above my desktop that would rotate to allow easier access to the phones. I read through all of the posts in this thread and "borrowed" a few ideas! There is some great looking stuff in this thread and some definitely unique ideas! Some good humor, too! I...- edriley

How to control power of two or more devices
I had the same problem with my tri-amped speakers and subwoofer. How to simply start up and shut off all of that stuff, especially with the sub located across the room, and with its power switch located on the back of the unit? I picked up a remote controlled power outlet for fifteen...- edriley
