Yes I have the Tarkan adapter. Yes I have checked the ribbon cable today and it seems to be normal. I have put all the ribbon cables very carefully in the connectors and tried it several times... so I don't think there is the issue. But I don't know for sure.. are there more ways to check...- razortje

@Cmarti: Do you think the 2000 mAH battery will fit with the "iFlash iPod CF Adapter" adapter? (you talked about the Iflash adapter but I didn't knew which one you ment: the "iFlash iPod CF Adapter" or the "iFlash-Sata" adapter") And if you take for example a 'fat backplate', I...- razortje

I have bought the Tarkan adapter to CF + CF-SD Adapter and I want to use my Qumox 128 gb SD card for this rebuild. But it's not working yet, and I guess it is because it is still in ExFAT formatted. But, with the program 'AOMEI Partition Assistant' I can do the trick I hope, according...- razortje

Thanks Cmarti and Peridot for your answers! This will give me enough information to try it. I think I will order the 128GB QUMOX SD Card, that Peridot show me in this topic because the CF cards are still way to expensive. If I'm right, is it true that 128gb with an SD card is still the...- razortje

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.
Hello everyone. Maybe I want to Rockbox my Ipod Video 5.5th generation but I'm still doubing. I don't care of the graphics, themes, applications, games, and other crap like that. I'm also not an audio freak so I think I wouldn't even hear any difference between an mp3 and a flac. So are...- razortje
