USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

I do not have this issue. I paused music for 7 mins, using UAPP as the music app.

Perhaps wait a bit longer, a bit of news from VE's FB page, they will be releasing an upgraded Megatron.

iBasso CB19 or E1DA Y-splitter cable will work, I have both.

I no longer have the rw2000 but I seem to remember that if I swapped the shells, i.e. L shell in right ear and R shell in left ear, it was more comfortable for me. Don't know if that helps you.

If you only listen to classical chamber music and solo instrumental then FF1 is quite good (for an entry level earbud). But for symphonies and concertos then it is a "no", the soundstage is not spacious enough. I performed a quick test without foams, I noticed an increase in clarity, treble is...

With the recent interest in the new Temperament earbuds, I came across a review of the X6 on FB. It is a public page so it should still be accessible even if you don't have a FB account. It also includes comparison with the LBBS...

It is still under development so VE have not released many details. The only facts I know, it will cost around $200 and will be powered by 18650 batteries.

    Earbuds Round-Up

I've been using the following setup for the past 2 weeks, Red Serratus paired with Colorfly CDA M1P. Take the Serratus sound signature and add on top some velvety smoothness and that is essentially what you get, the synergy is quite excellent, sounds wonderful.

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best

Thanks, I will try Ubuntu since it is using a newer kernel than Mint but I'll probably wait until the 24.04 LTS release. I'm using easy to drive earphones, max volume on the dc04 pro is like 1/3 the volume of my PC built-in headphone jack, almost inaudible actually.

Really? I use Linux Mint but the volume is very low, it is unusable. Pls let me know which Linux distro you are using and if you need to config any specific settings. Tyvm

    Earbuds Round-Up

I have both, Asura 3.0 FE is different sounding, with thin foams it is the closest earbud I have listened to that gives an analog or vinyl feel which I find to be very engaging. With silicone rings, they are clean and clear, very detailed. I would say they are more of a sidegrade, just a...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Here is my opinion on the Fiio FF1 after 2 weeks of listening. I am using the donut foams (or crisp foams as Fiio likes to call them) and iBasso DC03 Pro as the source and UAPP as the music app. My unit is L-shaped, the mids and treble are in line with each other but the bass is boosted...

I would suggest that you send a msg via VE's customer service and ask them to forward to Lee. He does have a head-fi account, his username is @zhibli06 but not very active these days, might be worth a try to send him a PM.
