+1 Was on the fence for Noble or JH earlier. Went w/ Noble K10. Never bought a JH before but the slow speed of reply to new order inquiries from JHA really put me off. Almost felt they didn't really want or care for the new order/business. Others may feel differently or gotten better service...

You're right. Chkd the purchase receipt. Yep bought early 2011 actually was 1.5yrs.(felt like 2yrs if no counting exactly)

Great review.  Considering getting a pair of these and have been looking at some great deals on them.  Been listening to HD 25's and think it's time for a new purchase. Seems like a great bang for the buck headphone.  Thanks

Had a chance to listen to the 490's and what impressed me was the barely noticable difference with the NC turned off or on.  Unforutnately, didn't get to listen to them long enough to get further impression on the SQ.

Any thoughts on the release dates? Just got a M80 and thinking if I should even think about considering the M 100

Had mine for over 2 yrs going and still my go to pairs.  Tried a bunch of Shures but keep on going back to my Westone 4 after a few weeks.
