Buying portable or in-ear headphones? Seeking guidance? DON'T START A NEW THREAD. Ask for advice HERE!
Hi guys, I'm looking for a very cheap set of iems, like sub-$100 and around $50 would be preferable. My music will be Mp3s. I actually listen to everything; Rock, Alternative, folk, classical, country, rap, techno/dubstep; and everything in between. I want them to be able...- takubi

Quote: That sounds like an awesome setup, for an even more awesome price! Personally I think I'm going to go the Daytons with the topping. So on a completely different note, I'm going to be getting an S3, do you have any tips or something audio wise?- takubi

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]
This may seem ridiculous, but what what are some of your favorite non-fountain pen pens? I love a good Stabilo, or even a Pentel RSVP. Maybe it's a little "low class", but I've never really had the chance to try a goo fountain pen.- takubi

Samsung Galaxy S3, need some insight on it, US or International version?
Quote: Cool, thank you. I know this will seem kind of silly, but do you know of any guides for using a DAC, or optimizing audio in general, because all the jargon is very confusing.- takubi

Audioengine 2, not what I expected.
So the Daytons paired with the Topping DAC/amp would be good for nearfield listening in my bedroom? Also are there any other options for my listening desires?- takubi

Starter Rig?
Quote: Thank you so much for the help and info. I think that the M50s will be the best option, especially since it seems to be a step up from my current pair. And I'm sure I'll like them even just because I don't have much to compare them to. The sony's seem like a good option too and are...- takubi

Quote: I was just wondering how to rip into FLAC format, but I think I'll just use a higher bitrate. Well I'm just looking for a better quality sound through headphones that will fit my needs. I'm simply looking for a step up, thats why I can wait a little and do research like this...- takubi

So this might be shallow of me, but I love the look of the Audioengine 2 and 5. Are there any good speakers that have the sort of box look? Sorry for the very shallow question.- takubi
